Description
This short 0.5 mile trail provides access to Black Canyon Trail No. 820 a little earlier and later in the year than the higher elevation No. 820 trailhead at Dusty Camp. Forest Road No. 5810 is also more suitable for use by passenger vehicles and trailers than Forest Road No. 5840 to Dusty Camp Trailhead. Trail is maintained every year to primitive standards.

Basic Directions
From Paulina, travel 13 miles toward Rager Ranger Station. Turn north (left) at Sugar Creek Day Use Area onto Forest Road #5810. Travel 9.5 miles on #5810 to Boeing Field Trailhead. Trailhead is signed and marked by an information board/trail register. There is limited roadside and off road parking. One small, unimproved campsite is located across Road #5810 from the trailhead.
