Don't think that the Bush House Museum has anything to do with the family down Texas way and skip through Salem without paying a visit to the Bush House Museum (on political grounds). This facility was in fact home to an early pioneer and businessman, Asahel Bush II, back in 1878, and has been preserved to date with period furnishings to provide those who stop by with a glimpse of early Oregon life. Make sure to leave time for a stroll through the surrounding estate and a spin through the historic barn, now home to a community arts center.Hours:
