Camping, picnicking, and hiking. a 1/4 mile accessible trail leads from the shelter to the beginning of the South Umpqua River, at the confluence of Black Rock Fork and Castle Rock Fork.
Basic Directions
From the Tiller Ranger Station take County Road No.46, which becomes South Umpqua Road No.28, for 26 miles to Camp Comfort Campground. The entrance is on the right side of the road.
