57th Annual Hood River Valley Blossom Festival
Nothing is prettier in the spring than fruit trees in bloom, and the Hood River Valley Blossom Festival, now over 50 years old, celebrates the arrival of spring in style.
The Blossom Festival is a perfect opportunity for the winter-weary to visit the Hood River Valley for a dose of Oregon’s springtime sunshine. A gorgeous drive along the loop of the Hood River County Scenic Tour Route is the centerpiece of the longtime celebration, and winds through the Festival’s activities at over 20 different venues.

Harvest Festival
Each fall, Hood River Valley hosts an old-fashioned harvest festival with local produce and food products, arts and crafts, wine- and beer-tastings: all the best our County has to offer. In fact, visitors seldom leave Harvest Fest without boxes of Anjou pears, heirloom apples, pumpkins, berries, flowers, and a smorgasbord of prepared foods from pies to jams and smoked salmon to chocolate-covered nuts.

Hood River Holidays
Hood River, Oregon is known as a sports mecca all year long and that includes during the holidays. Snowboarding on the city streets in a downtown Rail Jam? In Hood River it’s all part of the celebration. The festivities begin with the city’s holiday parade, and the lighting of downtown Oak Street and the city tree. The main street will be closed during and after the parade for an evening filled with live music, food vendors, a bouncy house for the kids, children’s arts and crafts, and of course Santa. Holiday shopping will be easy too, as the downtown stores will be staying open late.
The entire month of December will be filled with activities in Hood River, with something for everyone.
