Description

The River Dance Lodge, Idaho's Outdoor Adventure Resort, is a place that celebrates wild rivers, nature and adventure. This wilderness vacation resort is located on the banks of the Middle Fork of the Clearwater, one of the original six rivers designated "Wild and Scenic" by Congress in 1968. Surrounded by National Forest lands, this Rocky Mountain Resort is adjacent to the 1.1 million-acre Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness Area, one of the largest in the nation. It is also close to the Lewis and Clark trail and an ideal location from which to explore the Lolo Trail and Lewis and Clark history.

The pristine and unique location allows the resort to be all-inclusive, a family resort, fishing lodge, summer camp, mountain resort and wilderness lodge, all wrapped up in one. "Family Adventure Camps" offer an all inclusive resort package with activities for all ages.

This is a nature-lover's paradise, thick with forests of fir, pine and cedar and dozens of creeks that flow into the three pristine rivers that neighbor the resort - the Selway, Lochsa and Middle Fork of the Clearwater. Come to relax and enjoy the ambiance of your own handcrafted log cabin. You'll find plenty to do with hikes in the nearby forest, fly fishing, drift boat fishing, whitewater rafting, mountain biking, canoe adventures, kayak trips or swimming from white sand beaches in the crystal waters of the Clearwater, Lochsa or Selway rivers. At the end of the day soothe your body with a soak in your own private hot tub on the deck of your cabin while enjoying a heavenly view of verdant, forested mountains and the gently flowing Clearwater.

Additional Details:
There are six log cabins at the River Dance Lodge. Each has a private hot tub on the expansive front deck. Each cabin has a "theme" and is decorated with unique, character-filled furnishings and local artwork. The cabins have a comfortable living room with dining table and chairs, a gas fireplace, sitting area. There is a samll kitchen area and counter with a microwave, coffeemaker, dishes and under-counter refrigerator.

Four of the cabins are "Two-Bedroom" with one main floor queen bedroom and a loft bedroom with two single beds that can be moved together to form a king-size bed if desired. There is a full bath on the main floor, and a futon that will sleep one or two people, thus the cabin accommodates a total of 4 to 6 people. We also have two duplex cabins, each with two "Three-Bedroom" units. Each unit has two queen bedrooms downstairs that share a full bath. There is also a futon in the main floor living area that will sleep one or two people. Upstairs is a loft bedroom with a queen bed, a trundle bed that sleeps two singles and a separate bathroom with shower.

Because each duplex unit will sleep from 6 to 10 people, they are perfect for families and larger groups. The entire building could be rented and is ideal for a group of 12 to 16 or as many as 20. For maximum comfort we recommend no more than 8 in each duplex unit.
