Description

The rejuvenation of the Village Green Resort began in 2001 when it was acquired by Moonstone Hotel Properties, a small family of garden-themed inns owned by Dirk Winter, an avid gardening enthusiast. Five years of renovations culminated in last year’s unveiling of a new entertainment lounge and bar, lobby, full-service restaurant, meeting rooms and wedding facilities. In addition to restoring the structures, Winter also planted 14 acres of themed gardens on the property, including the Fragrance Garden, Asian Garden and Golden Garden.
