Located 17.8 miles NW of Grants Pass. Off I-5 west on the Merlin-Galice Rd about 12 miles left onto Forest Service Road 25 and go 12 miles to the campground.

Description

Rustic camp, with water. World's tallest Ponderosa Pine Tree. Big Pine Interpretive Loop Trail.

Onion Mountain Lookout (Recreation Rental site) is also in the general vicinity (to the northeast).

Motorcycles are allowed on all trails, also the Elkhorn Jeep Road is in the vicinity.
