Cherry Creek State Park, a great getaway from the daily grind, is popular with Colorado visitors as well as Denver residents. It provides the convenience of close-in camping at its 102 sites located on the east side of the reservoir.
The campground opened March 10, 2003 and will be open year round. All sites have access to showers and laundry facilities and approximately 51 sites have electrical hook-ups. Cherry Creek has three group campsites that hold 24 people each for tent camping. To make group camping reservations call the park office.
Firewood is sold at the campground for $4 a bundle. Please help us protect our natural resources by not gathering wood for your fires. Quiet hours are observed within the campground from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Please use the holding tank dump station located across from the campground entrance to dump waste, sewage and dishwater. For information about making reservations, see the reservations page.
