Description

Primitive boat launching facilities. The boat ramp consists of a paved roadbed leading into the lake, the pavement turns to dirt as the reservoir recedes.

A dirt/gravel parking lot is available.

Shoreline fishing access is available as well.

Basic Directions

Follow Hwy. 238 southwest from Jacksonville for 6.5 miles, turning south on Upper Applegate Road (County Rd. 859) at Ruch. Continue south for approximately 17.5 miles (the last 3 miles are along Applegate Lake) to the spur road leading to the left (east) marked as Copper Boat Ramp.
