Description

Trail follows the north side of the meandering and crystal clear spring-fed Fall River, roughly paralleling Rd. 42. Another lovely short trail segment follows the south side of the river, across the footbridge from the campground. Old growth ponderosa pines frame frequent river views.

Basic Directions

Trailhead is 34 miles southwest of Bend. Travel south on Hwy. 97 past Sunriver; then west on Forest Rd. 42 (South Century Drive) to any of five trailheads along Fall River on the left. The trailhead in Fall River Campground is the easiest to find.
