Description

This short trail links Swampy-Dutchman Trail No. 40 and Flagline Trail No. 41 near Vista Butte, allowing a variety of loops. This is a winter cross country ski trail which is used in the summer, primarily by mountain bikes.

Flagline Trail (#41), between Flagline Access Trail (#40.1) and Flagline Tie Trail (#40.3), is closed to all use until August 15 each summer to protect Elk calving grounds.

This connector trail is reached via the Swampy-Dutchman Trail (#40) or the Flagline Trail (#41), both of which can be accessed from the Dutchman Trailhead or Swampy Lakes Trailhead, 21 and 16 miles west of Bend, respectively, out Century Drive.
