A steep uphill climb to Copper Ridge and rapid descent down the other side provide great views of the Steamboat Springs area and the surrounding countryside. From the route's end at the hot springs, riders may return via the same route or follow County Road 129 back to their starting point.

From Steamboat Springs, take Strawberry Park Road north out of town. After three miles, follow the gravel road across Soda Creek and up Copper Ridge to a parking area.
