Oregon's "Rose City" is both green, as in eco-conscious, and green, as in lush, a river edged port city that's also a laid-back multi-cultural urban center with forest and mountains a stone's throw from downtown attractions.
The campground is adjacent to Abbott Creek, a tributary to the Rogue River. The campground is nestled in an old-growth Douglas-fir forest. There is a small sandy beach nearby. Parking is limited. Large 5th wheel trailers are not recommended. There is no drinking water. The campground can accommodate up to 40 people. Perfect for school outings and family reunions. Pick up a key to the site at the Prospect Ranger District.
