Description

Trail begins from the Maiden Lake Trail No. 41 and goes to the summit of Maiden Peak. A trail continues west from the summit of Maiden Peak to the Pacific Crest Trail No. 2000 on the Willamette N.F. This trail ascends through a very old noble fir/mountain hemlock open forest. Benches and a lava flow will be encountered before this trail junctions with the Maiden Peak Trail from Gold Lake. Excellent views of Odell and Davis Lakes, Diamond Peak, and the Three Sisters will be experienced.
