The Notch Trail, located in the foothills just outside Georgetown, is a fantastic singletrack downhill that can easily be added onto a day trip to Argentine Pass for some exhilarating fun before hitting the road.
The Notch Trail can be car shuttled, cutting out all of the uphill on dirt roadway, or ridden as a loop. The downhill of the Notch Trail is super smooth and well maintained, allowing riders to make a fast, ripping descent of the trail. Riders looking for a bit of an aerobic workout will ride up the same dirt roadway that car shuttles take. It is not suggested for riders to try to ride uphill on the Notch Trail proper due to chance for collision.
