Nestled among the trees, high in the Blue Mountains of Eastern Oregon, this popular campground has 21 trailer/tent campsites,2 group sites, 2 tent sites and 3 day use areas. Olive Lake covers 160 surface acres and is located 26 miles S.E. of Dale, Oregon off of F.S. road #10. Both gas and electric trolling motors are allowed. Beware of submerged logs. Only 8 miles west of the historic Fremont Powerhouse and 12- miles west of the old mining town of Granite, this lake provides an abundance of historical sites and recreation opportunities. Features a 2 1/2 mile hiking trail around the lake with nearby access to wilderness and scenic area trails. There is no potable water. A $5.00 fee is charged for overnight camping. A $10.00 fee is required for group sites.
