Description

In Newberry National Volcanic Monument. From the junction with the Crater Rim Trail to the summit of Paulina Peak, the highest point on the rim. Over 8% grade to the peak. Spectacular views of Cascade Mountains from Mt. Adams in Washington to Mt. Shasta in California.

Bears are a common occurrence in Newberry Caldera. Please be Bear Safe and be aware of and follow all food storage regulations.
