Description

Allows access to the backbone of the Strawberry Mountains.

Ample parking at the trailhead. There are tie stalls for horses available, with stock water located approximately 1/2 mile away in drainage on east side of Baldy Mountain.

Basic Directions

From Prairie City, go west approximately 6 miles to County road 54 off of U.S. Highway 26. Follow County road 54, which becomes Forest Service road 5401. Follow Forest Service road 5401 then Forest Service road 811 all the way to the Pine Creek Trailhead.
