Description

Rujada Campground is situated on a river terrace above Layng Creek and offers several secluded, shaded camp spots. There is a large day use picnic area which encircles an open grassy field used for ball games and horseshoes. Swordfern Trail follows along Layng Creek and back through a beautiful forest environment with a lush swordfern understory. A campground host is generally on duty through the summer use season.

From Cottage Grove Exit 174 on Interstate 5, take Row River Road No.2400 east 19 miles to Road No.17 (2143). Turn left (northeast) on Road No.17 and continue for 2 miles until you reach Rujada Campground, located on the right across Layng Creek.
