Description

This trail in the Strawberry Mountain Wilderness Area provides good trail to access the Skyline Trail No. 385. Camping opportunities exist along the trail.

Water is plentiful on the lower 2/3 of the trail. Drinking water should be carried in. Trail was burned in 1991 and logged heavily.

Basic Directions

From Prairie City, follow County road 62 and Forest Service road 14 to Summit Prairie. Go west on Forest Service road 16 to Forest Service road 924. Turn right on Forest Service road 1648. Go to Forest Service road 021 road. Follow Forest Service road 021 approximately 2 1/2 miles to the trailhead.
