Basic Directions

From Madras head SOUTHWEST on the CULVER HIGHWAY for approximately 7.2 miles. Turn RIGHT onto SW GEM LANE. Follow for approximately 1.8 miles. Gem Lane becomes FRAZIER DRIVE. Turn RIGHT onto Forest Service Road 63 (Jordan Road). Stay on FOREST SERVICE ROAD 63 for approximately 5.8 miles. Enter the COVE PALISADES STATE PARK and proceed to the DESCHUTES RIVER CAMPGROUND. Trailhead is located in the "B" Campground Loop near the pet exercise area.
