Description

This trail follows the contours of the lower slopes of Mt. Adams. Most of the trail is in timber. From Road 8031.050, the trail enters the wilderness after approximately 0.5 mile. There is a natural opening at Crofton Butte, which offers excellent views of the surrounding area. The trail crosses Croften Creek and then leaves the wilderness and crosses Shorthorn Creek. The trail ends on Road 8040.
