Description

In Newberry National Volcanic Monument. Trail goes all the way around Paulina Lake. Hiker traffic only. Trail connections to Peter Skene Ogden Trail No. 3956, Crater Rim Trail No. 3957, and Little Crater Trail No. 3953.

Bears are a common occurrence in Newberry Caldera. Please be Bear Safe and be aware of and follow all food storage regulations.
