Description

In the Oregon Cascades Recreation Area. Trail begins from the Summit Lake Trailhead on F.S. Rd. 6010, crosses Windy Lakes Trail No. 50 and ends at the Oldenberg Lake Trail No. 45. This trail starts out in a lodgepole forest, passes by many ponds, and comes to a mountain hemlock/grand fir forest at the Windy Lakes Trail. Mountain hemlock predominates past Suzanne Lake, then becomes lodgepole near Oldenberg Lake. Provides access to Windy, Suzanne, and Darlene Lakes.
