Description

This is a very good trail for one who wants solitude in a lakes setting. It has strong wilderness characteristics. This trail is in the Strawberry Wilderness Area

Water is plentiful for most of the trail except the upper end.

Basic Directions

From Prairie City, follow County road 62 to Summit Prairie. Go west on Forest Service road 16 to Forest Service road 924. Turn right on Forest Service road 1648. Go to Forest Service road 021. Go approximately 1 1/2 miles to Forest Service road 039. Follow Forest Service road 039 to the trailhead.
