Over the Rivers - Through the Woods Scenic Byway may not find you at grandmother's house, but you might not want to be found anyway; with a plethora of different mountains, rivers, woods, and lakes to play on, why not get lost for a while?

Over the Rivers - Through the Woods Scenic Byway begins at exit 216 off I-5 onto HWY 228, 18 miles north of Eugene. Follow HWY 228 until taking HWY 20 east. The byway ends at HWY 126 at the top of Santiam Pass.

Starting in the farmland of the Williamette Valley, this drive promises diverse activity and scenery as the road climbs into the Cascade Mountains. Who knows what is to be found in the small towns along the way or in the enchanting wilderness stretched along the quiet road.
