Description
Panther Flat Campground, the largest Smith River NRA campground, is located next to the Middle Fork of Smith River. It’s at mile post 16.75 on Highway 199, two miles east of the Smith River NRA Visitor Center. Panther Flat has 39 campsites (some barrier-free) and hot showers. Both Panther Flat Campground and Picnic Area are open all year. Panther Flat Picnic Area is a no fee, day- use area only, with 10 picnic tables, grills, water, and a lovely view of the Smith River and access to some world class fishing.
