Basic Directions
From Highway 395 near Dale, head east 29 miles on Forest Road No. 10 to trailhead.
Description
The area is signed. Limited parking, Olive Lake Campground is located approximately 1.5 miles from trailhead. A section of the trail is in the North Fork John Day Wilderness. Trailhead pass required. Trail closed to all motorized and mechanized equipment, including mountain bikes and carts.
