Though Ontario's natural setting alone, still relatively rugged and undeveloped, might easily evoke images of long-gone wagon trains and dusty pioneers, there are a handful of cultural attractions in the area associated with the old Oregon Trail to help round out this picture. Stop at early Oregon history museums in Ontario, Baker City to the northwest and points in between for a look at artifacts and the hard-won, time-worn tracks of pioneer wagons.
